What we collect

When you create a comic we collect: your child's first name, your email address, the photo you upload, and your choices for theme and art style. We do not collect payment details directly — payments are processed by Stripe.

How we use your child's photo

The uploaded photo is used solely to generate your child's personalized comic preview. It is sent to OpenAI's image generation API for this purpose only. The photo is stored on our server for a maximum of 24 hours and is then automatically deleted. We do not use it for any other purpose, and we do not share it with any party other than OpenAI for generation.

How we use your email address

Your email is associated with your comic order so you can access your preview. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.

Third-party services

• OpenAI— used to generate the story text and comic illustrations. Your child's name and photo are sent to OpenAI solely for this purpose. OpenAI's privacy policy applies to data processed by their API.
• Stripe — used to process payments when PDF unlock is available. We never see or store your full card number.

Parental consent

By submitting the form you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child whose photo and name you provide, and that you consent to that information being used to generate the personalized comic.

Data retention

Uploaded photos are deleted within 24 hours. Generated comic images and story text are retained for a reasonable period to allow you to download your PDF. Your email and child's name are retained in our database unless you request deletion.

Your rights

You may request deletion of any data we hold about you by contacting us through the site. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page.
